h1. Manage Aliases

An alias lets you create an e-mail address that forwards to a real e-mail account. For example you can create several aliases such as first.name@domain.com and webadmin@domain.com that point to john@domain.com. john@domain.com would be the only mailbox created.

h4. Adding an Alias

* Go to {link-window:https://cp.emailarray.com/admin|type=normal|icon=false|width=1024|height=600}[https://cp.emailarray.com/admin]

* Log in using your admin username and password.
* Click on *AliasAliases* in the lefttop menu under *Provision*
* Select bar
* Click on the *New Alias* button
** In the *Domain field*, select the domain underin which you wishwill to create thean aliasAlias
** EnterIn the *Alias* you want
* Enter field, type the alias (just the part before the at sign)
** In the *Forwards to field*, specify the e-mail addressaccount where theemails aliaswill shouldbe forwardsent into thefor *To*this fieldalias
** Click on the button *ProvisionAdd Alias*

An Alias is a unique e-mail address that has to be unique across your entire domain. No other e-mail account or list may have the same name as the Alias

h4. Removing an Alias

* Go to {link-window:https://cp.emailarray.com/admin|type=normal|icon=false|width=1024|height=600}[https://cp.emailarray.com/admin]

* Log in using your admin username and password.
* Click on *Aliases* in the lefttop menu under *Manage*bar
* Select the domain underwhich whichhas the alias was defined you want to remove, in the drop-down list
* Click on the "*Remove*\-*" icon (minus sign) next to the Aliasalias you wish to remove
* An alert pop up will appear, showing the alias that will be deleted. Click on *OK* to confirm.
