Manage Domains

First of all, make sure you have sufficient quota, which can be checked by clicking on Home, in the top menu bar.

Add a Domain

  • Go to
    Unknown macro: {link-window}

    https://cp.emailarray.com/admin

  • Log in using your admin username and password.
  • Click on Domains in the top menu bar
  • Click on the New Domain button
  • In the Domain name field, specify the new domain
  • In the Domain type field, choose if it will use Basic or Enhanced accounts
  • In the Default Webmail field, choose the preferred WebMail client
  • Make sure to modify your DNS settings and add the MX records for the domain. They should be:
    • Primary with a preference of 5: mx.emailarray.com
    • Secondary with a preference of 10: mx2.emailarray.com
    • Check other records such as SPF here

By default the system will add a Basic Domain which only supports Basic Accounts. If you purchased Enhanced Accounts, you must configure the domain as Enhanced. Note that with an Enhanced Domain, it is possible to host both Basic Accounts and Enhanced Accounts within the same domain.

In order to configure the domain for Enhanced Accounts:

  • Click on Domains under Manage
  • Select your domain from the drop-down list
  • Change the Domain Type to Enhanced Domain

In order to access your Enhanced Domain through Webmail, you must also create an entry in DNS.

Choose a host name that will be used in order to access the Enhanced Webmail ( we recommend office.<yourdomain.com> ) and create a CNAME entry that forwards to: webredirect.emailarray.com

You will then access your Enhanced Webmail by going to: http://office.<yourdomain.com>

Remove a Domain

  • Go to
    Unknown macro: {link-window}

    https://cp.emailarray.com/admin

  • Log in using your admin username and password.
  • Click on Domains in the top menu bar
  • Click on the "-" icon (minus sign) next to the domain you wish to remove
  • An alert pop up will appear, showing the alias domain that will be deleted. Click on OK to confirm.

Removing a domain will PERMANENTLY erase all domain data from our servers, including all the messages of all the users, the aliases, lists and all preferences.

Set a Catchall

A catchall address allows you to capture messages destined for non-existing mailboxes. It can help you salvage important messages that were sent to mistyped addresses, but on the other hand, will surely cause you to receive many spams sent via dictionary attack, where the sender puts commonly used aliases. To enable it:

  • Go to
    Unknown macro: {link-window}

    https://cp.emailarray.com/admin

  • Log in using your admin username and password.
  • Click on Domains in the top menu bar
  • Click on the pencil icon next to the domain you wish to edit
  • In the Domain Catchall field, you can choose from the following:
    • No catchall: this disables the catchall feature
    • Accept & Delete: the catchall will automatically delete all the messages received
    • Username: the catchall will forward all received messages to the selected Username

Convert Domain to Enhanced or Basic

  • Go to
    Unknown macro: {link-window}

    https://cp.emailarray.com/admin

  • Log in using your admin username and password.
  • Click on Domains in the top menu bar
  • Click on the pencil icon next to the domain you wish to edit
  • In the Domain catchall drop-down, choose Enhanced or Basic
  • No labels
